Introducing a brand new, powerful approach to reviewing and selecting K-12 instructional materials: The Science Adoption Toolkit. This Toolkit is designed for districts to use as a data profile to develop a "lens" to assist in the selection of the most appropriate instructional material for the needs of their students and teachers.

The Toolkit provides a clear process to focus on critical questions of four essential components: content, assessment, lesson design/instructional strategies and resources/interventions. Additionally, an on-line version of the Toolkit allows a district to electronically compile and summarize data from the review process.
